Never realized plans

I love reading articles and tidbits of projects that never came to fruition at both Disneyland and Disney World. I always like imagining what a visit to either WDW or DL would be like if those attractions actually existed today.

One of my favorite undeveloped plans was the plan to put a Switzerland Pavilion in Epcot. Personally, I think the World Showcase at Epcot doesn't have enough attractions (read rides), and since this pavilion would have housed a version of the Matterhorn Bobsleds, I think it would have been a perfect fit.

The one I think is the most ridiculous? Rolly Crump's idea for the Museum of the Weird. What in the heck might that have been like at DL? I can't even see where it would fit in--unless you put it next to the Haunted Mansion, which wasn't even built when Crump was concocting his idea. I am sure it would have had its own Disney twist, but I honestly can't imagine!

It always makes me wonder how many ideas the imagineers came up with that might have been part of our DL or WDW as we know it today. Both places might be completely different!
