Indiana Jones Secret Rope Pull

While there is(much to my disappointment)no Indiana Jones ride at WDW like there is at Disneyland, there is a fabulous attraction called the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. This post, however, is not about that show particularly. I am sure, at some point in the many posts I will contribute to this blog, I will one day get into the specifics of the show, but this post is not it. It's good, go see it, but if you are with small children who do not like loud noises or fire, skip it. For now, that's all you'll get.

What this post IS about is one of my favorite Disney "insider" tips. One of the things that is so magical about Disney is the little things that are hidden throughout the parks. If you don't take time to stop, take a look around, and notice what's surrounding you, you just may miss out on some of the more magical things WDW has to offer.

The are outside the Stunt Spectacular holds one of my favorite "secrets." As you are walking by the entrance to the stunt show, with it being on your right side, OR before the entrance if you are walking with the stunt show on your left side, you will notice a well. There is a sign on the well that says "Do Not Pull Rope." If you pay attention, you will notice the "Not" part of the sign has an x through it. Encourage your traveling partners to pull the rope. They are likely to hear a call for help from the gentleman who has fallen into the bottom of that well.

It is a tradition in my family that we pull the rope every time we go, even if we don't visit the Stunt Show. Give it a try on your first or next visit!
