I just got back from "the world" today, and while I was so sad to leave, I am excited to come back and share some fresh tips and tricks I learned on this latest trip. If you go to Disney often, you know there are always new things to learn and to experience. It really is impossible to have "done it all," which is what keeps us returning again and again. (And by us, I mean Disney lovers).
This most recent trip was filled with lots of experiences! We tried out new restaurants, went to the Halloween party, and even ventured off property to a little place called Universal Studios to visit the new Harry Potter attraction.
I'll have to fast for the next week to even out my calorie intake from Epcot's Food and Wine Festival, but I think the time spent eating and drinking around World Showcase was definitely worth a few extra pounds.
As I was leaving this morning, I was thinking about the "Circle of Life." Not so much in relation to actual living, but in relation to vacations. As I waved my final goodbye to the Magic Kingdom, and my husband and I started packing our suitcases, I heard a very excited family running down the hall. They had just checked in and both kids were begging to check out the pool before they turned in for the night. They couldn't wait to wake up and head to the parks!
And so it goes--as my family's vacation ends, another family's vacation begins. Here's hoping my return finds at least one of you getting close to the time when you will embark on your very own Disney adventure! Enjoy it! It will be over before you know it, and you'll be home again planning for your next trip.
