Initially, you might think that a costume is only a must if you're headed to the Halloween party. It is true, a costume is a MUST for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and not just for the younguns. But if you are traveling with little princesses, don't be surprised with this tip.

BUY A COSTUME BEFORE YOU GO. You are going to see Princesses in all shapes and sizes. Not just Cinderella outside her cancel, but loads of little Princesses in pint sized costumes running everywhere. Children are the only ones allowed to wear costumes into the parks other than during the Halloween Party, and with the popularity of the Bippity Boppity Boutique, they are out in abundance.

If you are traveling with a child who loves the princesses, and you are not planning on doing the whole Bippity Boppity experience, save yourself time and money and pack a costume of your little princesses favorite Disney princess. The costumes at Disney are expensive, and you can often find them on e-bay or even at The Disney Store for much cheaper than you would find them in the parks.

This way, when your five year old sees Belles her own size, she won't beg you with tear stained cheeks and wailing to spend $70 on the costume featured in the Main Street Shop.

Buy one at home, secretly pack it in her suitcase, and then she'll get a nice surprise upon arrival that will make her very first visit to the Magic Kingdom extra special. Don't forget the crown and shoes!
