Booked plane tickets!

Of course, I'm going to Disney World this year! I can hardly believe it, but it will have been almost a year since I last visited. But Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Food and Wine Festival is fast approaching, and both are not to be missed events!

So, now that we have booked our hotel and have purchased our plane tickets, I'm really starting to get excited! The two month countdown begins, and while I am looking forward to many things, one of the things I am most looking forward to seeing? The Headless Horseman. Yep, that's what I said...The Headless Horseman.

If you are headed to the Halloween party for the first time, or you've been in the past, don't miss the parade! I am not normally a parade watcher. I usually use that time to take advantage of short lines on my favorite attractions. But this is not just any parade! It starts off with the a ride by the infamous horseman, holding his "head" under his arm, features a special dance by the Haunted Mansion grave diggers, and ends with lots of candy!

Halloween is my very favorite holiday, and every year, I feel like hearing the horse hooves clomp down the street carrying the mysterious rider kicks off my whole Halloween. Just like all things Disney, it's complete magic!

It's absolutely a do not miss! Add it to the list of the other 500 do not misses I have for Disney...

  2. So sad, Jules and I cannot be there with you guys. I love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, good times. Do you think Richard will give you the same dirty look Jules did last year. He needs to work on that..
